(Hopefully) My Final Idea

    My final idea is to make the fridge a big, that is opening to a scene of fireflies. Why? Because when you open a fridge it has the light come on (typically only on the refrigerator half), just like fireflies lil butts! I am currently trying to figure out how to make them look more like their fireflies and less like cockroaches, and also how to make it look more like their butts are glowing because we are just using black and white!

    Great start to sketching and filling in your appliance! I really like the nature scene that you picked to inside the refrigerator and the little small fridges with legs look so cute. You could even try messing around with some transparency for different effect. I am still a little confused on the concept but I bet once everything gets worked on a little bit more it's gonna all come together.

    I love the illustrative quality to this work. It shows a sense of humor and a solid concept. I also did a fridge and I love seeing how we used the object in different ways.

    I love this idea!! I think everything looks great, and I think the contrast between the vector art and the forest is a great contrast. I'm really curious to see how you incorporate the light of the fireflies!

  I thought that Afghan Girl would be a good image to use for this project, as there are many different ways to play with this image. Hopefully this is high enough resolution (had google only show me large files so that they would have high resolution), because I couldn't find this image in the library that didn't have the National Geographic text on it.
